Thanks all
they're both doing well, Ethan's feeding like a champ, and Ness is recovering nicely from the emergency caesarian.
I'm very proud.

OK. Now that is sorted. Just had to change my two year old's bed because of her most recent habit of getting undressed and taking her nappy off at night. Now to check news on BYAP.

Oh! Good job there Kuda, and forget everything I just wrote. I'm sure all my kids toiletry quirks are unique to them and you will have no such issues. Same with the tantrums, fighting, selective deafness and monster, running out one leghole and up the back, poos. And so on. At least I didn't have any 'up all night crying' kids (not that I remember, anyway) and they were all massive eaters, up till they could say "I don't like this".
Anyway, I'm sure you wont have any of these issues. He looks very content and well behaved.

Congratulations,

Dexter.

Thanks again everybody.
Little Ethan and Mum came home this morning. It's so great to have them home. But alas I feel tired already, and I haven't even ridden out a whole night with them yet!

I would wake up for the 1:00am feeding everynight and never considered it lost sleep. I quickly found that I would look forward to it and would wake up just before 1:00 and wait for the little cry. She was like clockwork! There is something about sitting in the dark feeding a baby with no other interuption. There is nothing else to do but bond with the child and admire the miracle that He has entrusted you with. In that first year I bonded with my children more then I ever thought possible. I never really learned what love was until my first child was born. It changed the way I looked at my wife and the world in general. Just embrace it and cherish every moment as they slip by so fast!

Thank you for bringing back those memories that already seem a lifetime ago!
Mark

I guess it is a lucky thing you are no newbie to AP since you now get to test how little time it actually takes to maintain. (I must admit, once a system is running well, there isn't a heck of a lot to do unless you just got new fish and need to test water a little more.)
Congrats!
