tested the ph... 7.2 in the system with the dodgy fruit... 6.8 in the main system, not as low as I thought it was going to be. So best source of calcium? I will use potassium bicarb in the small system and see if that clears up that deficiency, and will hand polenate.

pH looks high enough for both systems, Do you have seasol you could use for the potassium?

Oyster shells for Calcium, at least that is what I have in my system.

If you want a quick hit, maybe something like Gypsum (calcium Sulphate) or if you can get some Calcium Nitrate..in both cases you would need to watch the water parameters.

I'd go with the powdery mildew and lack of pollination. There may be a low level of K deficiency as well which wouldn't be helping with the pollination either.

Can you see any silver 'fur' on the underside of the leaves? Probably most visible first thing in the morning.

Monya, is photo 002 from a different plant to the others? That certainly looks like K deficiency - most pronouned in the older leaves and a uniform necrosis of the leaf margins. The youngest leaves look great, typical of a marginally mobile nutrient like K.

003 definately looks like Mildew - uneven discolouration.

001 definately looks like poor pollination coupled with a mildew issue.
