yeah if only i had my decking done I would consider driving to Sydney if it goes at that price! Absolute bargain. You could set it up next to BBQ or pizza oven and have GB's on top to cover it from escaping fish and kids that want to "pat the fish"!

Some of that fibreglass stuff isn't very cheap, 5000L – Used - $1200 We do new ones for less than that. Might be able to bargain them down a bit though..

Yeah, it's the old Goanna Plastics yard - they made a lot of aquaculture stuff over the years - anyone that's been to the Freo hatchery would have seen it there.

I tried to make the point to the guy that several of us here might be interested but that we're probably only willing to pay HDPE equivalent prices - he sort of lost interest at that point but he may change sometime as he's had them listed for months now.

I don't particualrly care what it's made from (as long as it's food safe) so am not willing to pay fibreglass prices when I can get the HDPE equivalent for a lot less. A few of us said that a while ago and Monya thought we were nuts, but there you go !!

Not a bad temporary tank for quarentine or purge tank. If only they were larger capacity.

I think you'd only want to use them, as you suggest, as temporary tanks - they're not rated for potable water so long term use would be an issue, st least for me.
