I was just ringing around getting some prices, forgot to ask them thickness.

One of the companies I rang said that they needed to ring their supplier to find out what was available, and that got me thinking that they were a middle man.

Argosee have their own rolls, apparently they are moving buildings at the moment, but will still end up in Walliston. Their number is 9291 3500 (I found them in the yellow pages).

Some people said they had green film, as well as the opaque, didn't ask what colours they carried.

Started to build the poly tunnel structure, will probably post some pics tomorrow.

I'm going to try using split poly to hold the film onto my structure, thus didn't ask about locking channels.

Did you get the green film?

Any pics of the attachment to hold on the film?

I still haven't got my wire lock channel. I rang the guy at MTM greenhouses today and his supplier wouldn't sell him any less than 1600m, so he is trying for a different supplier. I will keep you posted.

I found another company that may be of use: Redpath

They look like a NZ company that manufactures greenhouse parts and accessories.

They have their own locking system similar to the wire lock system.

Where did you get the DWC beds from?? and how much...

Take it, you chopped the end of each one and then plastic welded them together?

Made from scratch useing fiberglass. Form ply was used as the original product then made a mold from that
Serched around for somthing like this but couldent find anything durable and cost effective, was going to use ply sides with pond liner but belive it or not this worked out cheeper.. not buy much but this will last longer than liner too.. hopefully

I don't know if the fiberglass will last longer than the good quality pond liner but I have a feeling it will last far longer than the wood that forms up the pond liner.

a bit over due with an update, here`s some pics of the fiberglass growbeds set up. One is setup as flood and drain the other set up as DWC(floating raft). I have maybe a 100 or so babie blue maron that I will put in the DWC to see how they go, I have been told buy a breeder that they dont cause the same damage as the yabbie (Cherax destructor) If they cause to much damage... out they go

The marron should leave your plants alone. Think of yabbies on vallium or mogadon. The price you pay for these pacificists is a slower growth rate.

That GB looks fantastic, how many litres do you think it is (the one with gravel)?

I reckon you could sell them... if they are not too labour intensive to make that is.

Do you have a FT or are you pumping from the DWC with the marron in it to the flood and drain GB?

Hi guys, the gravel(expanded clay) in that growbed alone has 14 bags(50ltr) in it and a depth of 280mm, the top grow area is 2.3 x 1.1mtr. I estimated about 800Lts for each of the DWC growbed.
I have currently two 3000ltr plastic tanks, one has about 200 silvers in it (Fingerling tank) the other is half dug down in the ground and is my sump/marron tank. Soon I`ll be getting a 12,500 ltr tank, I`m going to need a lot of nitrates if im going to fill the rest of this green house with veg
