Just thought I'd pass on a news article for you guys living in the USA, particularly down south.

There is a Aquaculture conference in Missouri on the 12-13th January and the keynote focus is apparently to be on obtaining faster growth from bluegill.

Would love to go, but to far from texas. Is Missouri now considered the south? Naw - can't be - gets to cold there.

Was thinking more along the lines that you guys may be interested in trying to get your hands on a copy of the paper(s) presented.

I'm not too far from Jeff City. I would have had no idea about this had Chilli not posted it (THANKS!). It's a little short notice, but I'll see if I can make the trip.

BG will probably be the majority of the fish in my system. I can go to the local pond and pick up dozens for free, so it would be nice to know the secrets to making them grow!
