It's nice to know my sons developing a sense of humour (or is that a sense of the absurd) ...

he's just leant over my shoulder and suggested that really I shouldn't be that worried...

gives us long enough to get the fish from the tank and have one last barbie

all figures asshide (pun intended)…

I WILL work to maintain a solar / wind (or any suitable energy source) power station for FREE (Food, housing and breath provided) because:

1) I'm a useless 'sob'
2) I currently drain 'taxpayers' money (funny that, I was born free and ever since then the reins have tightened: for another time though)
3) I have bad acne...
4) ...wet the bed regularly
5) and this is F'n important and far better I live life impoverished, than stand by while some (all) decisions are made purely on economics…

I am saddened by our stupidity, blinded by power and ambition, and wish that people hold in their hearts their inevitable death, to sober there actions.

I'm tired now...

7) No need for a third eye (simpsoneys)
8) What the hell we live in chaos (a buffered chaos: maybe shell grit, steve???) so my input will have little cause and effect (affect)

damn...

Damn it's been a while since I read this topic..... Tim, How can it be stated that it's not economically viable to use solar power when we don't know the true cost of nuclear...? I don't feel that it's a comparison that can really be made

Also, your data is all based on PV cells isn't it, nowadays theres a lot more focus on to solar thermal a totaly diferent kettle of fish to PV..
