Was hoping to make it but as someone who has a complete inability to manage any type of social diary it was just confirmed to me again that I have no idea what I am meant to be doing when, when it comes to social events. I was informed this morning by the beautiful lady who manages these things for me that Friday is my work end of year function that I had already committed us to.

They are a pest when they leave it to the last minute to remind you what you have organized. :? :?
Faye, my earlier 50% chance now looks like a 0% chance of attending. Have a great time.

Apparently I usually get several reminders over an extended period of time but I only tend to hear the one that asks why I am still outside and not in the shower getting ready? "Ready for what?" and that's when it starts

All the more for us to eat and drink... :)

Faye has a new little smoker here, so tomorrow arvo we will pull out a few trout and try smoking them, that should be fun, it's always fun playing with fire and smoke. We can also try a couple of different smoking methods, in the smoker with sawdust, and then in a wok on the bbq using tea, rice and sugar.
