I'm starting to plan ahead on the new extension to our system and want to get an electrical box or enclosure of some sort to house power point etc.

Does anyone have pictures of their setup? I need to have one that is stand alone out in the weather as I don't have a cover or roofing above my system.

I just use a box just like the old builders power pole they are waterproof and you can leave leads pluged in with the door closed [I will have a look in daylight i may have one ]

If there is a local electrical trade supplier there is a lot of cool stuff. The box's F&F posted you can find there. Small water proof boxes and sub boards. I found a fuse cover that my timer can be mounted into.

like this one F&F, got it from you :D ,
the other wasn't that expensive, but I keep them both under cover, sort of,

Ask Burnsy about his enclosure at http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=186502#p186502

Steve S are you brave enough to show me the inside? I went to an Electrical shop today and found heaps of enclosures but tryint to work out how to attach power points was another story.

The guy had no idea and it was L&H. They should know!

Both enclosures are gutted, with a powerboard with individually switched points and a boxed relayboard in each.
The rest of the control sys is the garage. Pics tomorrow, or just drop in for a look, most welcomed.

I like the bucket. Better than me using a zippy tie under the GB stand.

As promised, pretty simple, green barrel FT and one of the two air-pumps are on cheap mechanical timers,
IBCs and the TUB on controllers.

Simo has a really nice one on his system thread, it is a platce ute side box and is big enough to fit air pumps and stuff in. We have a lockable box mounted on a post next to the FT at school but is really only big enough for two double GPO's and a timer. Our air pump is going to be mounted into a $16 lockable bunnings letterbox that will be mounted on the post as well.

Thanks Steve S and Burnsy. I have now worked out what I will do. It helps to get a look at other systems to work it all out.

Cheers
