Iced water works wonders...
Marron are one fish you don't want 'going off' before cooking. :flower:
No fingers were harmed in the filming

Great marron C1, they are such awesome critters.

I know it is probaly written here somewhere but 77 pages is a few to many to trawl through  How many marron do you have in your system and are they in a separate tank? If so, what size and type of tank? Have they put on much mass in your system?

I have noticed that the two I have in the tank at school are much bigger than the female I removed with berries so they are obviously putting on mass pretty quickly seeing they all started out the same size in June.

You going to pull them out before they drop and the pump eats all the juveniles? I got about 30 juveniles off ours, the last of them dropped last week. Ours have been happy in with the trout as well and now with the barra.

I am considering a separate 600mm deep long rectangular tank to put the juveniles in next year to grow them out. Figure I might just let two grow beds drain into the tank before letting the tank overflow into the existing sump.
