I have just discovered aquaponics in the form of a very interesting setup put together by Steve Patman in Alice Springs. Steve harnassed some old bathtubs to the a goldfish pond built by the previous owner of his block. It's very much a pilot scheme but i was very impressed. Steve works for an organisation called Desert Knowledge and is convinced we could be using aquaponics on a bigger scale in the inland. I made a short film which people might be interested in looking at.
