Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone could help... but is this a weed or a seedling??

How do you tell if they are weeds??

Could it be a cucumber seedling ...

I don't recall popping a cucumber seed into the growbeds I found this from...

Definitely a seedling, but looks like a thistle seedling to me. I don't know of any edible (except maybe artichokes) that has little spines along the leaf margins, if that is what those are.

Thats what it looks like to me also Thistle. but here is a weed seedling not mine of course!

Thanks guys, never thought that weed can get up to the growbeds. Maybe I should start killing the weeds in my backyard...

Wind can carry those seeds for miles

At least they are very easy to pull from gravel.
