OK, so i ended up paying for rendering, but not the first quoted $800. managed to get the whole thing done for under $300.. score!

Check out how it got to this point in my other threads.

suggestions etc welcome.

(big hole in wall is for window)

Well between you, me and the gate post... I am already planning another build. The better half doesnt need to know but I am planning on building another pond smaller than this to use as my sump/fingerling tank and do away with the 1000L BYAP tub. This way i can make it deeper and mould it around a patio post.. volume of around 2400L i think should do nicely. although given that this build has been dragged out somewhat it could be a while off. Texture coat goes on leter this week, then the liner gets installed in maybe just under 2 weeks... it will be blue... or tan.. haven't quite decided yet. then a week later... window in. 15mm toughened glass
