It's probably in the Glossary but....
NFT generally stands for Nutrient Film Technique (it's from Hydropoics) which is where you grow the plants in pipes or gutters or channels where there is just a film of water in the bottom and the plants sit in net pots or something in the holes in the tops of the channel and only part of their roots are in the water. There are many variations on this theme though.

absoluletly stoked this is just so easy. very impressed with snow peas in nft, in one week the roots started as the size of a needle and one week later 2 inches through the bottom of the pot.
