A quick update from my last visit...
The trout are growing so quickly it is putting my system to shame
There are some nice looking fish around 350-400g.
and the growth and colour of the plant life is so vivid.
The water tested at 0 0 0 pH7.2, the clarity is not bad and the weed (long) has reduce to
about 5-8mm long.
The 50 marron seem to be doing well :flower:
I wish I had a pic but not for now.

Damn, don't think our trout are that big.....

Might need to stick a couple of silvers into each pond to try and keep the weed down if it's becoming a problem. One of the reasons I love silvers, no more weed problems...

Hi Jaymie
The block is on a very heavy wooded area about 7acre's, the main trees are Marri, Jarrah, Karri, Peppermint with a variety of others.
From the front boundary to the rear boundary is one Km ,the rear boundary is a creek which runs in to the Margaret River.
The block slops from front to back hence the use Gravity fed Grow Beds.
The regulations of this area is you are only able to clear an envelope for the house,no fencing is allowed so there is freedom for the wild life to roam.
The wind flowers are sensational all varieties,so is the bird life.
Some visitors have had trouble sleeping because of the quietness .
So far I have had little trouble with wild life eating the goodies however the is plenty to go around, fortunately they cannot get into the Cellar.
Regards,
Eagle.

You could fence the veggie garden.
I think a roo would make a mess.

Just thought I could do a quick update...
The FTs are very clear, and the Trout are large
Don smoked some 550g ones  I wasn't there.
Also tried the home smoked beef jerky (rump) very nice indeed.
The veggies are still but lots end up chook food because of over production.
I tried to convince Eagle to have a marron or 2 but he declined. :blackeye: :blackeye:
