Good day all, my name is Jakobus de wet and I finally got my first grow bed in working order this week end .

My system is a nice DIY project with materials that you doe not always need to buy new.

Please feel free to give me advice on my system if you see something missing or if you have a idea of something that would work better.

Here is the maximum space that I have available at the back of my house.

All looks do-able but I hope you put more cross bracing and beef up your stand a little using small square tubing. It's a too common mistake that can be quite dangerous. Water and most grow media can be quite heavy. Do some calc's on how many bags of pebbles, lava rock/scoria or hydroton will fit in your grow bed and how many gallons of water will take up the difference. You will probably find it enough to squat way down the back of a pickup truck. I appologize if I jumped the gun on this.
Welcome to the addiction!!!
