we are building a strawberry tower for school in a aquaponic system. What is the best water cycle we should use? 15 minutes on 45 minutes off? any suggestions would be appreciated

As long as you dont need to salt the water at any time, any timed cycle will do. 15/45 work well, mainly due to thats what cheap timers do.

15/45 is good. Mine is set to about 15/90, but it's only because it part of sequencing for the rest of my system. I had the supply line get clogged one day and they didn't get any water.... They were wilted at the end of the day, but perked right up again once they got water again.
