Were they standing near our systems???

Carl noticed someone had moved stuff around at the display, stuck some cloud background screen in front of the big fish tanks we had.

She was standing next to corrugated iron tank/grow bed, and ran her hands through some gravel/clay. There where also some funny looking ornamental aerator things shown. The text underneath her said "Aqua Farm", which I think is just the name of the area where the display is?

Only 2 sleeps to go.

I have been telling the kids to make sure they come and say hello and buy a magazine so they have their own copy to keep.

Hope to see you there if time allows.

I am coming Friday week. I will try and delay the kids fairy floss intake to reduce the chance of them trashing the place.

 I LOVE the Royal Show. Wish I could be there....but you really need 2 days to really appreciate all the events. When I was a kid I used to be so jealous of the people living in Clearmont, ' cause they made pocket money from parking and got to go to the show every day of the week.

I hope you all sell a heap of system's  and infect many others with the AP virus :compress:

When at the Perth Show come and say hi to myself and the Challenger Tafe team. We're in the same shed as Joel, Faye, Mitch and Carl directly across form BYAP. Have a look at the 3 Kg Yellowtail Kingfish and the Barra in the aquaponics system. Also yabbies. marron Silver Perch and Murray Cod.

Can you eplain the plumbing from the fish tank Tony??... is that just a "tee" to bleed excess flow/pressure... and/or provide extra oxygenation...

Any particular reason for the large outlet from the pump, or is it just the outlet sizing of the pump??

You can see the water returning to the tank via the bleed off if you look closely Rupert. The big diameter is from one of these http://www.rockaroundtheblock.com.au/pr ... 714&cID=63 style pumps. Not seen them before but they look awesome. One of the other stands at the show has the aquapro ones for sale 33000 and 55000 litre. The 33000 litre one is 230 watts and rated for continuous usage. There is a great display there of one hooked up to a bell fountain in a tank that is on a timer and it is keeping all the kids entertained. Could not find the aquapro one on the web but would be interested to find out more if anyone has found a link or is using them.

Caught up with Carl at the stand, Faye was busy as there was plenty of tire kickers around. Great to hear that a few kids from school came and had a talk to them yesterday.

Carl reached for the camera when he thought it funny that I was filling in for the I T department after I noticed the screen was blank. Mitch also thought it quite funny and tried to take over, thinking I could not manage. To their amazement all was rectified in a flash.

All the fun of the fair- this guy Shawn was juggling a chainsaw while riding a bike and then balanced on a pole metres above ground juggling knives and flaming things, torches I think.
