One moving part

I swear by my King 2. I ran it for over 2 months with a broken impeller shaft (I broke it) and have run one continuously for years trouble free.

You will be paying for all the fountain head stuff that you will not use.

Good pumps - I have one that must be 10 years old. Came with one of my second hand ponds - it's a 2000 litre per hour job and is what is running my system. It still runs okay, but the impellor is pretty worn and I reckon it might give up on me soon. I'd love to have bought a newy, but price wise there are so many other cheaper pumps which are reasonable value even if they only last a year or 2.

my first resun pump to run my little garden pond went for 10 years until the rats chewed the cable out and it died. (hopefully the rat did too)
The current pump is a couple of years old and still going well. They are a bit expensive, but for a fountain and waterfall pond they were the only ones I could get.

theres some on ebay

http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search ... resun+pump

i'm looking at the king 3 due to its low watt yet high lph output. 35w at 2400lph = 68.5lph per watt

Just be aware that a 2400lph will not pump close to this at head.

bf, normally it is written on the box but beware it will be stated under best conditions (ie largest pipe size) on different heights (increments of 500mm), max head should have a figure.

I bought a 2000lph and get 900lph at ~metre - admittedly this was a cheap pump for tests purposes.

The simplest way I found to get the info on the pumps rating was to drop into "B" and visit their pond area and check out their different pumps
