Called into the Fantastic BYAP shop on Saturday and managed to hold faye up for 1/2 an hour or so (sorry Faye ), but purchased the hard copy of this edition of BYAP magazine, great read, Rupert explains the system cycle, some recipes, a few systems stories, and a great story about BSF by faye.
I must admit i have bypassed a few threads on BSF because it seemed like a messy exercise and the missus "Your not breeding flies" nag, nag, nag, but she actually read the article first (I got to read the "No Idea") and guess what new comment "why don't your get into BSF" so it is a new venture in the AP cycle for me, I always wondered what them strange things in the worm farm were.
Faye my missus said you had a biopod in store (observant aren't I), is that correct? and if you're selling them any chance of a Picture here and pricing, (I know you guys don't like promoting in the forum, but this is after all a question) if not can you PM pic and details to me, looks like my fathers day pressie Mrs said people ask what did you get him for Xmas? No link Jessy is in the magazine, you can purchase online and download or by the printed glossy version, would be unfair to put snippets here but what a saving can be made on food purchases, considering the price of pellets the biopod would pay for itself in less than 2 seasons, and also food nearly always on hand, like macca's for fish......McMaggots I like it, may register the name would cut pellet buying at least in half and BSF are already in my worm farm

I think ( and we just all had a debate about it up here ) ...That I am breeding a blow fly farm ANYWAY....I will stick with the original mix ....The McMaggots I will let you copywrite..cool name for a BSF Farm .........

Biopods not available at this stage, but I have designed one via Nocky Sketch and will build over the weekend, searched google and no one really has built a homemade pod successfully anyhow, I think for under $20 I will have a reasonable prototype and will trial and post the grand plan once working, I still like the idea of the manufactured ones and neatness so please give me info when available faye

We have one we are trialing here that our growbed manufacturer has helped to design. It's gunna be a while before we know whether it works well, and it won;t be under $20...

well if your looking at a second trialler EB let me know I wont a proper one but will work on the DYI one for now, will keep the final design top secret only pic's of the produce and outside, but the all important internals will remain classified

Well if I'd known you were dropping by here the other day, I could have given you one to test.....

I can always get one picked up eb, I did PM you I was coming and did catch up with faye

it would be interesting to see how the prototype stacks up against my effort, so if you want to trial one down here let me know, if it works I will pay for it, well if it works better than mine

Ahhh... now it is coming to light... I saw a black looking container the last time I was there and I had suspicious that it has something to do with BSF.... So I was on to something then....
