Boy, that was quick. I had heard about Koi being a good clean up crew. I thought you might have been a finatic and cleaned them specially to keep them running well.

There's a good Koi farm in Camden south of Sydney. They deliver fish as well as sell from the door.

Koi are great, They 'eat' the gravel on the bottom of my indoor FT, scour all the junk into their stomachs and spit out the rocks.
I'd never thought of them for keeping tanks clean, but it stands to reason.
They get a bit cranky with low temperatures though.

Just don't buy them too big too start with ...cause they grow so quick on the food available for the trout and barra...if I grow out a barra successfully that gets as big as the kio....I will be very happy.

I would like to thank my indigenous ( aboriginal mates ) that have helped me to garden all this....i didn't do it by my self..... we all get a kick out of what picture's i post....so well done to you all aswell....and once again I would like to say, all this produce is Given away....as a kind guesture....since all the food we can buy is so old and dead :mrgreen:
