Here are a couple of photos of my fish pond set-up. Its now 8weeks from my initial planting.

Sorry, but the file is too big. Well I'm not too sure what to do about that, so if you can help, you willget to see the pictures.

Anyway the system is working, but not quite self supporting.

Cheers John.

Well here we go again, after advice from Ivan. I've reduced the sizes and hopefully I can find them again.

I'm learning about computer and pictures and all sorts of stuff as well as AP.

So cheers, John.

Now the extension bmp is not allowed???

If you have paintbrush or something like that on the computer, try opening the picture to edit and then save it as a JPG or jpeg You want it to be about 800 wide by 600 high so it will be small enough a file for uploading and also fit on people's screens without making them scroll sideways to read the posts.

If you're using XP as your operating system, Microsoft supports a free image resizing power-toy here : http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.

Hope this helps.

Well they look okay. Pond water recycles through GBs, but of course much more water than can nourish and filter through the GBs. I am supplementary feeding with Maxicrop.
These photos show just after planting 8 weeks ago.

Now will add new photos showing current growth. Have just added Iron Chelates to fix iron chlorosis as is evident in corn leaves.

Thanks for your input folks.

Hi TCL,
I only have a bunch of goldfish, swordtails and a few other strange inbreds. I have considered adding Baramundi, Jade Perch or even Silver Perch, but am a little concerned about predation. Also the availability is unknown. Maybe Aquamad has some answers there. I should give him a ring soon.
Cheers, John.

Hi Jaymie,
Thanks, may even get more feedback. I have actually followed some of your progress with your massive system, guing back to your starting days. It appears that we all learn a bit as we go. So any input is always appreciated. You may have some advice on the availability of fish. The goldfish are purely recreational and pre-existing in the pond, but have added more to create more impact.
Cheers, John.

We get barra from Kurranda Fish Farm just up the range, and you can source redclaw and Jade Perch from Tarzali fish farm (http://www.tarzalilakes.com/)... plus sometimes we order in via airmail (if a few people order together it gets cheaper)...
BBUUUTTTT - the barra WILL eat your swords and anything smaller than they are
