Ok, so few others are jumping in to link their diagrams so as I find ones I think are useful throughout the forum, I'm image linking them here. Please feel free to assist me in this as there is no pay involved and I don't know how best to find the diagrams I know are out there.

TC, if looking for images, check out this google link (I can't cos my net is capped :-( ) http://images.google.com.au/images?q=site:backyardaquaponics.com
I think that should show you every pic on the website.

Hay Kuda, I would love to see your siphon diagnostic diagrams here since they are mucho useful in explaining siphon issues.

Hi,
Just finished designing this Vertical NFT with six 1 mtr (110mm) tubes holding 6 growpots each. Planning to run it on a 100ltr fish tank. It will be a continuous flow system.
Hope somebody finds this useful.
Cheers.
KM

i have this setup of AP and the water flow is continuous. is it ok?

We should perhaps take discussion about continuous flow to another thread. When you say continuous flow, do you mean......
trickle of water through the gravel and draining directly so the bed never floods?
or
Continually flooded?
Or
Continually pumping but the bed floods and drains by the use of a siphon or flout or something?

Knowmore09,
I have created a thread to discuss your design there in detail if you are interested.

KP the Google image search link is not including the forum, just the main BYAP site. It's be awesome to see one that does.

Yeah I realised that.
I have a html page I built at work the other day
It will do a google like display of all images in the forum.
HOWEVER it's not fast like google :-(

I'll supply the source if you're interested.

Damn, that's not in my diagram. What tc has shown here is IMHO a MUST. Long bendy siphon drains are SOOO troublesome. Just read my thread early days if you want proof. Air can be bloody annoying!
