C1, what an awesome system you got there. Sounds like it will work great too. You may find there is some solids buildup in the FT's maybe not. Purely from an aquaculture standpoint I wonder what provisions you have, if needed at all, to cleanout or repair certain segments of the system without shutting the whole system down. Bypass lines etc. You could always drop a submersible trash pump into the FT's to cleanout solids.

I have learned the hard way that on a large (Recirc. aquaculture) system its better to run two smaller pumps for redundancy. If you lose one main pump with no backup aeration and 1000 kg of trout you my have to rent a dump truck. Of course if you losepower without a backup generator all lost anyway. One way around backup power is compressed oxygen.

Keep up the great work.

Just a few of my fishy thoughts for what its worth. Trying to save some grief not cause it.

Each FT have a central drain if need be  and conical bottom.
It work well :flower: thanks for your comments.
Also we can isolate banks of 4 GBs or totally isolate GBs from FTs.
Running independant FTs or isolate sump and second FT etc.
Lots of thought went into it

Good to hear, no question alot of thought went into it. Figured it had something I was overlooking.
Does it run on one pump and or have backup aeration? I probably missed that too.

There are 2 pumps, they run alternating duty cycles
maximum pump failure outage 1hr.
We don't believe we need extra airation as the waterfalls x 3 plus return drop x 2
I have thought about adding a venturi(s)... somewhere 8)
Soon a genset will be added with auto start on power failure :flower:

Super. Although, the possible hour without aeration/pumping might be a concern. I really look forward to seeing pics of it in operation.

C1, Great job on the system. Has got a serene feeling to it.

I would love to have something like that in my backyard as well. Only problem is space.
