Did they really land on the moon? On the radio today I heard that an estimated 7 - 12 % of the population beleive we have been conned.
Personally, I don't beleive we have been completely conned, but I doubt that any of the footage we have seen come from the moon landing. As if they would beam live footage to millions of people around the world when something could have gone very wrong. The Russians would have had a field day!
Anyway, submit your votes, would be interested to see what people think.

Faked. Just like how they edited the JFK film. The pictures show a lot of errors as well. Also I like that they taped over the HD original tapes. How much did they spend on sending people to the moon. A billion? and they never released the DH footage in 40 years and managed to tape over it cos they didn't want to miss the footie.

My dad had 13 engineers working for him in his dept. building the launch vehicle in New Orleans. It was real. Most of the things detractors point to as evidence can be explained thru real science, Including the rippling flag, it was just the way inertia works on fabric! Or the stars in the sky was just shutter speed. They had Plenty of other things to hide.

How hard would it be to turn the Hubble telescope onto the moon, and find the flag and stuff that was left behind?

.

They claim that due to there being no atmosphere, the chances of the flag being there still are very slim.

Further to that the hubble's minimum range is much greater than that of the moon, or so I'm told.

We will never know for sure until the collapse of the American Empire. For surely nobody will say anything before then.

Doesn't need to be the flag, A simple shot of the Lunar Modules launch platform would suffice.

Um, they did that this week.

http://www.popsci.com/military-aviation ... ding-sites

Detractors are stupid and piss me off.

400,000 people worked their asses off to do one of the most amazing things that has ever been done by humans and some lazy stupid arm chair idiots have to make themselves feel special and smart by using their energy to try to negate the accomplishment.

Buzz Aldrin punched some asshole like this in the face. That's how I feel about it too.

(BTW the myths were all debunked on Mythbusters this week too if you'd rather believe them then the thousands of people that were actually involved in the effort)

I think a better poll would be was Project Mercury faked? Was Gemini faked? Was Apollo 1 through 17 faked? etc etc Where does the faking come in, when three astronauts died in Apollo 1? When three more almost died in Apollo 13? If they started faking with Apollo 11 then stopped somewhere after that then what would be the point of that? Was Apollo 15 the first "real" one? The whole argument is stupid. So is the ISS fake too, and why not? That is hard to do as well, but maybe it's not fake because we have the technology now and we're not in a space race anymore. Dumb.
