No I havent salted the system
system is running 24 / 7 - 15/45 min cycle

Have put the fourth growbed in on monday, fish really arent feeding, tank is green, can only see fish when they are right at the top of the tank, non floating, not sure if their all dead on the bottom, probably not, some do come up to surface when feeding but not 50, not sure whhat to do or if its normal

amonia - 0.25
nitrite - 1
trate -5
ph - 7.4

maybe levels are down due to fish not feeding, dont know, all grow beds planted, plants small at present, planted last bed with some more advanced seedling to get the nitrate used -

Hi all

Its been a while since I have been on here and a lot has happened, lost all my trout on that really hot tuesday a couple of months ago, 45 degrees outside temp, water temp was up close to 30 degrees and there was no elef in the night, pouched trout, now have 90 odd SP swimming around in tank, I know their odd by the looks on their faces lol, had a bit of suregry the other day and cant move, guess what the one time the system broke down this is it, fixed now and in operation and all fish survived, mind u i have it cycling 30/30 at present.

Grow beds have just been replanted again and am about to learn all about preserving, couldnt eat all the winter produce or give it away, can only eat so much brocolli, going to bottle excess tomatoes and chillies, just love chillies.

So what am I up to now, setting up a web server, for online monitoring for my system as well as weather monitoring on a weather station im about to get, yes Nocky im following ur lead, have had a close look at ur site. with the aquaponics system want to measure the basics and set up some trips, pump failure, water level, water temp etc, trend it and set points and web cam it, hey anyone with experience feel free to through the info this way

Anyway enough
Catch u all later

Bree :flower:
