Sounds like a real bargain.
For $10 you can usually get Barra of over 600gms in size.
120mm fish would normally cost about $1 each.

No smart ass. I've fed them for 6 months. They are no longer fingerlings.

The aquaria trade sells 60-80mm Barramundi for around $9 each...

http://www.livefish.com.au/index.php?ma ... cts_id=280

And 180mm fish for over $40....

http://www.livefish.com.au/index.php?ma ... cts_id=281

At $10 a pop or more... I'd probably rather spend $20 and eat a plate sized barra at a restuarant... at least I'd be saving money on feeding them...

Another thing in favour of trout.... $1.50 each for 150mm stock... and an FCR of about 1.2:1...

Jim have been to GP nice set up, but he sells trout for 3.50 - 5.00 TM is around $1.30 and mine were slightly less from a farm, so his prices are higher than others but he has bigger overheads I suppose, Tony at GP is very helpful but dearer, the prices others are quoting are closer to the mark, except for live fish which have ridiculous prices of which I will pot in the giant prawn thread, good luck if you get 10 skins but I don't think you will sell them here for that price
