This is starting to get close

Wow, everything is plumbed.
...and seems to flow/syphon well
Tested the pH 7.6
...was pretty happy as this water is all the wash
water with all kinds of debris and clay cement etc.
The pump that was supplied, failed before it started
The replacement arrives tomorrow.

...seeds raised, are standing by in the glass house
...and need to tee up a delivery of fish...
I will donate 30 of mine to advance the BBq

I still dont understand how it works

is it Chift Pist , with the bottom tank being the sump and the top tank overflowing into cascading growbeds ?

if so -
whats the midle tank doing , and wont every consecutive growbed get less nutrients than the one before it ?

or is it 2 chift pist in one ?
with the sump overflowing both top AND middle tanks at intervals with 2 lots of 4 growbeds ?

or am I missing something , like reverse gravity
