don't laugh, some poor bastards in countries that have sub zero winters need to float a ball in their pond so when it freezes the can pry it out and still have a surface for oxygen exchange :shock:

ice is for bourbon -eb. with you on that.
My pond temp gets down to 13.
Small tank inside is 20.(ambiant)
Minimum here gets to 4 and a max of 19.
