Wills where are you in the WB, ex Morawa boy me, but if perch are that size I have a fish trap I bought in Bunbury tackle shop, you can get them on Ebay as well, put bait in and fish swim in, much the same as a yabbie trap, don't feed fish and just bait the trap, we used this method for catching Pygmy Perch, the best bait.......don't laugh...........Cheese  no true, cheese and some pellets in the bait sack worked a treat and pulled net about every 15 minutes

Bunbury?

My brother and sister live in Busselton - I spent 6 months knocking about in the ol By' - we used to go to a place called blowey's (supa fly) or something like that....

mmm pat's steak sandwiches at 5am in the morning - nothing like it.

Thanks For the help fellas, I might ring my suppiler and see if i can get i MSD sheet on the flossy salt just to be on the safe side, but from wot Kuda said i think it should be okay.

The trap idea sounds really good might see if i can make one up with something,or try the butcket and leave shade cloth to a last resort.

And as for where i am in the WB, Cunderdin, its about 150kms east of perth.
