Hello I'm Mathias from Malaysia, I didn't introduce myself earlier.... am i the lone one from Malaysia ? I have built a system in my house with the feedback from this forum. i have 60 red tilipias in a 2000 litre tank and 3 growbeds. i've planted tomatoes and some vegetables, most of the vege plants did not flourish much except for Mint and moneypenny. tomatoes grew great but wilted suddenly, i think it is due to wet feet? the fish are great .

Bye for now

Sounds like wet feet, as you said.

Is your system on a timer? How deep is the gravel? How high does the water get in the growbed? Does it drain long enough? Is the gravel coarse enough to let air in or is it clogged? Do you have earthworms to help break down solids?

:)

Hello Mathias and welcome. Nice to have more AP addictions spreading around the world. A good description of your system would help grately but as you picked up aready probably wet feet. You may have some other potential problems that you haven't noticed yet that other members may recognize and help you with if you describe in detail your system, and yes we love photo's.
