I love the chatter about how to do this or that with pumps or siphons but here is the bottom line. The FLOUT® wins hands down when it comes to simple "fill it up at any rate then let it go all at once" systems. The Flout does not care how fast the inflow is. You can trigger a properly implemented Flout with an eyedropper! If you up the inflow or increase the ballast, you can keep a Flout flowing until the pump is off. No partial fills here.

My viflhys system is now loaded with roots that actually run down into the Flouts' "swingpipes" but it just keeps working. Only when they plug the swingpipes or cause premature triggering will there be a reason to remove them . Cucumber roots taste exactly like...cucumbers! The plants are getting so big I had to up the pump timer to every hour to keep things from drying out. The bottom tank should be bigger and that will come. Actually it should be a fish tank... tell my wife!

The CueValve4.1 sequencer works like a dream. Leakage is reduced to a tiny trickle or drip, if any . Anybody out there willing to try it out in their system?

FLOUT

Ahhhhh ... another "Siphon" and/or "Flout" thread.... ahhhhhhh...

No offence to anyone... but the forum is so big already that new members have difficulty finding relevant information....

Creation of multiple threads about the same subject is not only obvious duplication, but a further cluttering of forum space... and potential lose of information to users...
