2 minute entry, not sure if it makes sense, but hey, I'm drunk:

some prefer trout over perch
but no matter how much ppl search
despite how devout
they are to have trout
they will just end up in the lurch

I fear the quality is in proportion to the time spent composing:

We all like to drink heaps of grog,

TROUT just don't make the grade

Kuda I have created a monster The quality of limerick goes up the drunker people get

heh, we'll I was bored, drunk, and unaware of the passing time

I'm sitting here drinking a beer.
So a limerick I'll write, no fear.
What is it about?
Oh yeah, it's trout!
...what ever... here is a cheer.

These silvers you run are so yummy,
but their growth is really quite crummy
My trout go so strong
and don't take so long
to grow big and fill up my tummy

Trout just can't handle the heat,
In short they're really quite weak.
They need lots of air
and much gentle care
lest they end up bloated dead meat.

Silver Perch are naught if not
Reliably tough but they've got
some trouble with growing
in winter they're slowing
at least they wont die when it's hot.
