With EB's Permission I would like to run a little competition (and Maybe get a sticky)
As Monya is such a fan of TROUT I will put up for grabs a John Deere Brimmed Hat to keep the sun of when out playing with AP, I will post to the winner, sorry to International users I can only post with in Australia but still write a Limerick anyhow.
For those not old enough to know what a Limerick is, it is basically a 5 line Poem with the 2nd and 3rd line rhyming and the 4th and 5th line rhyming with the 1st line, will get EB and Faye to sort out a winner at the end of May, please post your limerick in bold and keep them clean
Example:
Woke up this morning with Gout
No way No fear
I'm not giving up beer
fish is good so I ate a TROUT
a week later I still have &%@#ing Gout

Please try and keep non comp posting in this thread to a minimum, to keep it tidy, and remember to make limericks easy to spot make only them in bold

One important rule I missed the limerick must contain the word TROUT

With winter so fast approaching
A Duffers thoughts may turn to poaching
For without any doubt
When it comes to Trout
It's all you'll see everyone hosting

It cold and my bones a creakin
My silvers are slow and not eatin
What can I throw
In the tank that will grow
Trout are the answer I’m seekin

I am walking around with a POUT,
I am tired of not having TROUT
The rules are complete nonsense!
I think it's time to ditch my license
Maybe I'll just walk out!

There once was a fellow named stu
with a very unusual point of view
I'm sick of these trout
He was heard to shout out,
I'm a perch man through and through.

I take it that it is ok to run the comp then but some goodies so far

I guess that it's your lucky day
That I love to rhyme what I say
Let the limerick go on
competition seems strong
And people can vote as they may

Nocky stop distracting my staff and get back to work you all!

There was an old man with a pond,
The trout all loved to swim along.
One day he went out to test the water
Only to accidently have his finger quartered
Now he only used Skretting Trout Feed

I'm so Sorry Faye
Man what can I say
Joel maybe a tad Stout
But he obviously loves his Trout
So let him Rhyme all day

To save her some trouble
He folded it double
And instead of coming...he went

Whose balls looked like brass bass
When he'd bang 'em together
They'd play stormy weather
And lightning would shoot out of his

There once was a fish farm at Meadows
That was run by the oddest of fellows
Tho' fish was his game
We all thought it strange
That the mention of trout made him bellow
