G'Day Gang,

We are having a problem with mozzie larvae. Can anyone suggest a small fish species that will

1: control the mozzie larvae

2: survive in a pool with yabbies

There is a small creek nearby that will have minnows so I am guessing they might be the best bet.

Cheers
Dennis

gambouzies, that's no doubt the wrong spelling, but they will take care of your wriggler's and they are good to feed to other fish like perch, trout and small barra.

Get the minows from the creek nearby, they ar probably gambusia (mosquito fish) but if they arn't you don't want to go introducing them into the area, they are pest and should not be transported or relocated so use what you have locally just in case they are native.
