Below is the system completed with net pots

Vegetation (wish the Aussies could get seeds of change) they are roughly around 98% germination rate.

I need to clean up my mess and a few beans look sad but I am hopeful.

Shadecloth and entire system.

You can see the growbed, filters, tank in this one.

I think it will work well the plants looked very sad when I planted them but now they are bouncing back with lightning speed.

450gallon Tank, 350 gallon Growbed. 500gph pump moving water between the growbed and tank, 6000gph pump moving water between the Growbed --> Filters --> Growbed. This will run a total of 4 hours out of the day manually turned on by me for now. I need to find a solid timer to use :)

Fishie Fishie here. I keep them alive in there and use that water that is bacteria laden from hell to supercharge my outdoor system :)

The agitation caused by the water moving so fast from the 6000gph creates loads of DO I can see air bubbles suspended in the water after 45 mins running. This takes a while to clear out and I have already cycled the system. Fish (non goldfish style) will go out in 3-5 days depending on what the water temperature is. It was not but 2 weeks ago I had ice on it while getting it prepared. It also snowed 2 days ago :)

Hey, looks great.....

could you paint the block wall an off white to make it a little cooler for summer?

seems that much mass will hold alot of heat...

just a thought..

Intermatic makes a very nice programmable timer for 120V and it costs about $20. http://www.plumbersurplus.com/Prod/Intermatic-Inc-DT17C-7-Day-Heavy-Duty-Grounded-Digital-Timer/105568/Cat/1309?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=googlebase&cvsfa=63&cvsfe=2&cvsfp=105568 Link to the first store I found on Google... you may find it cheaper but wanted to show you a picture.

I will get you some more pictures soon. The plants are all starting to grow now as many were planted from seedlings and took a bit to get to size of seeable.
