We have been rather busy over the last week or so with a big display at Garden Week..

Here's the counter with lots of specials and information packs. A wall filled with further information, a video playing in the background... Oh and some shovel hanging on the back wall..

We had a range of tanks and beds, as well as our new small all in one system set up.

Did I mention that the new small systems come in a range of colours to suit everybody...?

We set up a tank with a viewing window that has a couple of silver perch and a large Barra in it with a floating raft of lettuce, this proved popular, especially with the kids who could see the fish through the window.

Of course a one bed system is essential... This one had 25 trout in the fish tank, people love the trout, they performed well, eating constantly every day..

There has been a constant flow of people, with lots of Oooohs, and Aaaahs, especially when people are peering into the fish tank and you drop some pellets in making the trout splash water everywhere..

Some people thought I was childish buying a bubble blowing gun, but it certainly captured peoples attention this afternoon...

And here's another forum member in a kilt who has been keeping people entertained with his bagpipe playing during the event..

There are still two more days of Garden week to go, if you haven't got there yet and your in Perth, it's highly recommended.. The BYAP shop won't be open till Wednesday, Peter and John are out the back there doing things, but it's not open to customers till we are all back in the shop...

I'm sure Faye will have some more pictures to post up here, on my camera I had fairly limited pictures...

Looks a top display EB. What are the funny coloured shaped tanky things out the front? I did my bit for you today, and showed a Perth-ite my system. He will be paying you a visit very soon if I am correct.

Another busy day and the weather was beautiful once again, the trout performed beautifully as they usually do.
More converts to AP.

The Bio Pod has landed

We are farming our own soldier fly larvae
They are a real show stopper and people love to see something new. We have received some mixed reactions.
I love them. If someone told me 12 months ago that I would be hoping to breed flies I would never have believed them, but these creatures are amazing and we have developed a great respect for them. :D
