I should have more information to follow soon. It is scaled back to 800 gallons this year but thats big enough.

800 gallons is a good size.

more managable than my stupidly large one I did last year... :D

I did not have enough waste creation to sustain that much water.

How much grow bed volume do you have?

You should be able to raise enough fish in 800 gallons to feed a small family. If you have an excessive amount of grow bed you could even raise the fish more intensively.

Currently I am running 400 gallons for the fish, the grow bed (single for now) is 4ft wide 16ft long. I may need to add another to fit all the plants I want in.

I am using large sand filters modified with gravel inside. I have a 100lbs sand filter that holds about 1 barrel of gravel and another sand filter that is 50lbs that has sand in it.
