Same size (and right size) pellet... that they were being feed...

Difference is the feed was "Select" ... and a sinking... although about 10% of that feed "floats"... they clean it up overnight...

Help! I've had 3 fish deaths in the last couple of days.

Ich?

The tank is too dark to see if the fish are flashing.

I'm guessing 0.2ppt. Not much.

I was in Margaret River for the bike ride a few days ago - beautiful place!

Sweet you and 2000 other bikers  and support crew
Yeh I saw tentland... helped a bloke having difficulty with his bag & bike.

Not too hot for the ride, almost chippers a couple of mornings.
Hope you enjoyed your trip.

If you remember Caves rd towards the beach from Marg's and the Golf club
we live behind the G/Club up the hill. :flower:

Looks like a "small" one Scottie... were the others small also?

What sort of temp is your tank down to overnight... found mine dropped off quite dramatically a few nights ago... and have lost a couple of the smaller ones as well...

Not with that ugly spot on them though... did they all look like that??

Humm... think you need to salt to 3ppt+ immediately..

aka Snore City!

(and then Zip City in the mornings. Ever heard the sound of ~1000 tents being zipped & unzipped in the morning?)

Trip was great! Enjoyed it a lot. I was too chicken to make it past the 25m platform on the Bicentennial Tree. :(

A similar size, yes.

Hmmmm, I will have to measure. I have 4500L so I am not expecting large fluctuations.

I didn't check the first couple of deaths - silly me.

For 4500L that's ... 3 x 4.5kg = ... 13.5kg of salt! Holy fu k!

Is that right?

great read Rupert ...the second link

I have seen this leassion out at sea in big cod's...goes a horrible black slimmy sludgy....

But to have an open wound like that , either my two guess would be ....extrenal or internal.....

So if not external, an absess busting would probably contaminate the tank..,..

In the big vast ocean..where I worked it was that bad
