Only problem I am facing is to bring the feed bill down....

$75 for a 20 Kg sac of food,

plus $ 58 freight...on a 2: 1 ratio of feed to weight...makes a barra on feed alone a minimum of $ 8 a fish....

then the fingerling price...plus freight....plus power...

Plus.plus.plus....

= expensive fish...

If you order your feed on a skip it might be cheaper. I ordered $300 at a time. And then try and find a place to store it.

Does anyone know what has happened to this Fish.

I just came home from work to find him upside down...swimming listlessly, with a mega growth on its eye.

Just put 12 Kg of salt into the system...and hoping its just a one off....

Put the poor, sick Barra into anouther bucket with salt and a bubbler...but don't expect him to recover.

Is it damage caused by another fish. Could be an infection from a battle wound. :blackeye:
