Spirulina ,, can by tablets at the local heLTH FOOD SHOP ....., OVER-PRICED BY 10,0000% BUT A SOURCE..OOPS sorry for caps not yelling

You might be able to order some from here Cyara... http://www.australianspirulina.com.au/

From memory I think it was about $90Aus/kg.... they do export all over the world... and have an online cart...

I know Chappo. Is crazy the prices here too. Want to grow it instead of buying tablets. Is a big market in SA but you think they want to give me a little starter culture... not so far.

Thanks ROO. Appreciated. Looks like the stuff we have here. I wonder if just using powder will act as a starter culture? Surely they don't radiate it or something to kill it? Lose nutrients....

I'm not sure, but I believe that the drying process kills the spirulina. After all, these are aquatic organisms.

On that Indian spirulina farm, they were calculating how much fertilizer (might have been the sodium bicarb) to add based on the weight of bacteria extracted. Anybody know that formula?
