Damn, I've just finished 2 full days of washing and associated activities :-(
5 metres of gravel looks a whole lot bigger than I thought it would!

Back before restrictions you could have just dumped it in the driveway and put the sprinkler on top of it....

Aahhhh!..... Sprinklers!.....(Get's Teary..)...(Starts Singing..) "You must remember this........"

I have a seven year old neighbor that has never seen a sprinkler,
much less run through one!

When In ChristChurch, they were having a heat wave.
Boss had his 10 and 12 year olds over.
Manager of the hotel was worried about his bitumen being torn up, so he got one of those cylindrical sprinklers that slowly rotates from side to side, you know the ones, very 80's

These boys, fist asked what it was, completely aghast that water was being used so flippantly. They simply couldn't walk past it.
"What is that thing?" they asked
"But the water's going on the pavement!!!" they said.
"That's wrong, it's illegal!"

It took me a while to realise how ignorant of the things we used to take for granted they are. Water is now precious.
It took me a while

Faye.

Maybe Thursday you could visit Gardensmart, the Autopot Inventor's shop, & see how aquaponics is servicing hundreds of Autopots. Gardensmart, 810 Springvale Rd., Braeside, Jim Fah is his name. It is part of Gardenworld, the largest nursery in Victoria.

Cheers,
Laurie.

Thanks for that Laurie,
Well guess what? I have just got back from Gardenworld.
I have had the most wonderful day thanks to (LB) Dean and Jenny who picked me up from the hotel at midday and took me to visit all the wonderful displays at Gardenworld where we had lunch and viewed bonsai, bromeliads, water features, the nursey, dined at the cafe and yes we visited Gardensmart. | have a few photos hehe,(just a few) Saw Sleepy cod and Jade perch, it was Jims golf day but we got a tour and introduced ourselves never the less. Pointed Vincent toward the website just to complete the picture. I know, working on a Sunday. sigh! There is a computer downstairs where I am now. Still have to work out how to get my pictures here.
Big thanks Jenny and Dean it was lovely to meet you both and how did you know that would be the perfect day out. Definately makes on of the top 10 things to see and do in Melbourne.

Hi Faye. :D
Gee, you don't waste time. Jim used to play golf Wed. afternoons, but has now change to Sundays. Pity you didn't meet him, he is so knowledgable. Did you see his frogs as well as his fish ?
Love to see your pics when you can download them.
Hope the rest of your stay will be great.
Cheers,
Laurie.

Could have met at Jim's shop instead of me going to the Diggers Club in Dromana
and stop at my place for a cuppa. Not that far from Gardenwold. In North Dandenong.

I'm on night shift this week, If you are in the area do PM for direction.
Cheers, Steve S.
