The water was dumped from the quarantine ibc, and replaced with fresh water (ran out of salt though, will add more tomorrow).
We kept 6 "dinner" fish aside to put in the ibc for, well for dinner :)

We also removed the 4 rainbowfish that have survived in the tank for 2 1/2 years, and put them in the redclaw tank with some other rainbows. Hopefully they will breed in there. You can just make them out in the second picture.

I think all of them are fish bones. There wasn't much sludge at all. There is some shellgrit that has made it's way from the sump.

So after getting a close look at all of the fish do you have any clues as to why the others were dying? Parasites, heavy metals, or something else? The dinner fish look very nice!
