I actually had a thought that perhaps the Vic BYAP members could band together and spend a day/weekend helping them cleanup... a BYAP working bee....

Of course you'd have to let the media know.... BYAP rescue.... good publicity...

I heard today from my smoked trout supplier at the market, that Marysville is finished. Murrindindi is almost dead. Murrindindi owner has some ponds in Eildon, mostly ok, but only big trout, no fingerlings or ever BBQ sized fish :-(
Also says there's a farm in (place that starts with 'N' I forget) that has recently gone on the market. Out of business.

He said he expected it to be very difficult for me to find fingerlings this year :-( before September anyhow.
