Thought I should update with some pics of plants and produce :) I had too many cherry tomatoes in the fridge, so I decided to sun dry them. There is a cucumber, a grosse lisse tomatoe, some basil, parsley, and lettuce...

The rock melons and sweet corn in full sun are doing really well.

Looking great Snakes.
Let us know how the dried tommies go, I've got bucket loads as well.
Barry sure got a lucky break! 5ft aquarium is got to be more inviting than the BBQ!

He's the lucky one! :fish:

Well, the meal was so good, I had to put the photos up tonight.

Everything was aquaponic, except the advocado (off dads trees), lemon (off my tree), and red onion (bought). The Barra were awesome, and at an average size of 30cm, and about 430 gms, the 8 fillets were surprisingly big and chuncky! I purged them for 3 days, scaled and filleted them this morning, and then in the fridge for the day. Dad made a beer batter, and cooked them.

The highlight of the meal was actually the sun dried tomatoes! just in olive oil with bazil, they were sensational!!! I'll definately be doing that in the future! Enjoy!!!

You're right Faye, knowing how fresh and organic it is too. Makes all the effort worthwhile... I'm just so impressed with the whole concept, and to get these results in only 5 months!!! :D

YumO...
Nothing beats eating your first home grown fish. :D
Well done.
After seeing your pics, I was tempted to rush outside, grab an undersized Barra and cook him up in some beer batter.
However, I exercised a little restraint, and just had a beer.
