5 PPT is only 1 or 2 more than normal tap water.
Seed is best, then you know when they were planted :wink:
Now is a great time to plant :cheers:
Diggers do some good seedlings :flower:
Check out a moon planting guide (google your region)

No i had added 5ppt to treat the fish. I think tap water is only 3ppm :dontknow:

yep always. I treat for the chlorine with 6g/100l sodium ascorbate and aeration without any problems yet.

You need to bear that in mind when adding salt :wink:

now i'm confused, are you sure that the tap water is 2-3 parts per thousand not million? If it is then i have had it at 7 or even 8ppt :shock:

Tap water will vary, so it would be best to test first :wink:
Tis Ok for fish and a few veg..ie trout will handle seawater ~35ppt

Not today C1 but just a couple of days ago. Hope I didn't jump the gun by too much :(

Must do further reading on this thread. I believe that the moon has a major influence on plants, hell it affects the oceans so why not everything else.

The thing is though, I would have preferred that occasionally we all look up in the sky and know what the ....
is going on... :lol: :lol:
Tis not lazy but detrained from our knowlege base.
...plus it is easy to go to the shops and get twice as much as we need, throw half away,
and keep the green grocer in business. :wink: :roll:
