Hi Hopefuls,

If you are looking for more contacts: I recently got some fish shipped in from Murray Darling fisheries to Adelaide. They were pretty helpful, (a little slow on the order as they were busy and I was only after a smaller order) and most fish survived the journey.
I ordered 100 murray cod and 200 perch. Prices were pretty good with delivery.

However, most of the Perch had ich - but with the salted water, they seem to be doing ok!

Let me know if you want any more info. I have a few other contacts for us SA Great people, but these guys were the cheapest at the time (1 month ago).

Yes, especially now with the new stock!!
It was only marginally cheaper interstate ($20/hundred) - but I was getting cod as well.

SP were $99/100. MC were $154/100. Freight to Adelaide was $20/box of 100.

I've more quotes from other places if ppl are interested.

But that is not too bad.
For me trout at $2+ each is way easier than me trying to produce lings...
or hold them over from November.

Monya, your latest deal is great. I might be looking at a few fins and some feed - hoping to pop into the Adelaide meet.
I know the ich was free, but I feel it was one of those added bonuses that just wasn't worth it. I let the suppliers know that they had ich, but they weren't too bothered by small fry such as myself.
They SP varied in size a bit (25mm->50mm). Overall, about 180 of 200+ survived. And a couple of the cod made a meal of some others when they escaped!
Just trying to wean the cod now. The SP are loving life in Adelaide.

Yep could get 1000 for $200 about an hour & 1/2 away...
but would prefer to shop near local and via Troutman
