Tip: Including a photo showing a shoed foot is a big nono.

Other useful scale items have included pets (toy size dogs will make system and fish look really big, giant puppies really confuse things though) or small children (granted, sometimes we wonder if the children are being measured or the plants?) and even myself in my fish tank for one photo (I guess people had not comprehended the size of the hole before they saw me in it working on the cover.)

In truth toes are supposed to be caught by "accident" so ya better keep trying to get it right

Your system is looking pretty interesting so far, Please keep up with your detailed reports as you progress!

Update 25th Feb 2009

General
Air Temp: 26.8c
Humidity: 52%

Water Temps:
- Pond = 22c
- FT = 21c

pH:
- Mains = 7.0
- Pond = 7.5 - 8.0
- FT = 7.0

Hardness:
- Mains = 50ppm
- Pond = 60ppm
- FT = 70ppm

Comments:
The pH is starting to settle again after a period of high readings [Rupert knows  ] the Koi are still spawning though I haven't removed the mops as I already have enough fry to keep me going  approx 20 are now in a dedicated rearing tank in my fishroom, of these I will only be keeping those that show good colour and the rest will be culled off via Baz! [I will try to get a photo or two othem but they are soooo tinyyyyy!]
