Since the site went down the other day and since I've had problems with my own connections, I haven't received any e-mail notifications of postings and messages.

Has this been a problem for any one else? Or is it just me and you don't love me any more?

If it has been a problem for others, is it something to do with the site maintenance that has been occurring over the past week? Do we need to let the PTB know of the problem?

just realised I was in the same boat, I checked my profile and saw that "send notification of e-mails" had been turned off - might be a good idea for all to check there profile information is still correct

MMmmmm, my web hosting people have turned out to be a little less reliable than I hoped.. I'm investigating others at the moment but it's soooo hard to know if they are any good or not.

Has anyone had any experience with a good web host, one they would recommend?? I just want to find a relaible one for the long term, the group has been moved once already and that caused a major stuff around at the time, so I don't want to have to keep moving, but then I would expect that the site should not be down for days at a time..
