AM, you'll probably be kinda relieved you didn't go. It was $35 a ticket in Cairns (eep)

Edit: I was told last night it was $35, but just looking at his website it was only $10, sorry, misinformed

Saw him in Perth on the 19th of September. I was inspired alot by what he has done. I bought two of his books and got both of them signed. It was a fantastic summary of his life and his achievements. Also I don't think there are any prouder parents in the world with the number of PhD's in the family.

Definately go if you can, well worth it.

OMG. David Suzuki was just _the_ best. Absolutely no doubts about it, he is a true inspiration.

He's really got me more motivated than ever. I just had to get him to sign something for me.. Champion!

What an amazing public speaker! He had me sitting with tears in my eyes, laughing, sitting on the edge of my seat. Time flew & at the end I was wishing that he could just keep on talking.

A scientist with real people skills! He's DA MAN!

I'm going to try & go see him tomorrow here in Canberra as well. So that I can drag some more people along for the good Dr to spread the word to...  So, hopefully, my mum & a mate of mine who's always sooo borderline about everything (sort of how I used to be, just a bit more set in his ways). Someone was saying that I was being greedy wanting to go to another one, but if I learn even one more little bit of information, or the people that I take along with me are sparked into action.. I think it more than worthwhile.

I could rave on about it all day & all night. But alas, I cannot  *snicker* not that you'd want me to anyway..

I'm sure he'll be back again. It seems that he does truely love this land. Good man, a good good man.

::Edit:: ooh ooh! i forgot to say.. if people are really keen to see him, there'll be a podcast available for download on the ANU's website somewhere, by the end of the week. There's also supposed to be something on TV from his lecture at the PressClub in Canberra, so watch out for that (he's presenting on Wed at the PressClub, if that helps?).

I've read a couple of his books, will have to have a look at some of his more recent work.

The 59th minute refers to his explanation of exponential growth, right, with the analogy of the bacterium in the glass jar? Went something along the lines of "but why should we bother doing anything, theres still half of the jar left...". That the one?
