We decided the trial one we made up was evidence enough that we should go to a much larger sized setup.

I blame Dicko totally for this as well. He helped us do the final touch to the small system and its working like a charm.

So today we decided it was time to get serious.

And so it begins Embi..... welcome...

I wanted to start a bigger system first but money issues dictated that I start a small one. But oh, what I have to look forward to.

I like the way you think Embi....

Here is the first one i made. It was more to be a water feature as well as provide herbs for the pizza oven.



At the start it was a bit hit and miss as I was just using a timer to turn it on and off and the excess water would flow over the edge of the GB into the tank below. We started with 12 very small gold fish and they are going great guns with no losses.

I had a lot of water logged plants and not a lot of growth. In stepped Dicko. He installed a bell syphon on new years eve while i cranked up the pizza oven. Now its going off and the seeds we planted a week or two later and really taking off. Even the strawberries are flowering.

I'll still use that one as my main herb garden I think and use the bigger one for everything else.

Here's some pics of what I added today. The tank we are waiting on so we can get the same colour as the GB. Should be here friday ready for the weekend.

Is the frame box or angle. Just wondering how the GB goes if its sitting on the angles edge.

Shouldn't a fish tank be hook up to that growbed somewhere? Or am I just not seeing it in the picture?

Just waiting for the tank to arrive. Should have it in a day or two
